Terms of use
Site Square is run by Riley Brothers Construction Ltd, trading as RB Construction Apps, in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand (“we”, “us”). By subscribing to or using Site Square you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Site Square is a set-out tool. It calculates corrections from the measurements you enter so you can square foundations, slabs, and boxing. It runs in your web browser and can be added to your home screen.
2. Subscriptions and free trial
Site Square costs NZ$10 per month or NZ$100 per year. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You need a card to start the trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and your subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe.
3. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from Manage subscription in the app. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t refund part periods, except where the law requires it. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we’ll sort it out fairly.
4. Your responsibility on site
Results are only as accurate as the measurements you enter. Site Square is an aid, not a substitute for a surveyor, the consented plans, or your own professional judgement. Always check set-out against the plans and boundary pegs before you pour. You are responsible for the work you build.
5. Liability
Site Square is supplied for business purposes. To the extent the law allows, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, and we are not liable for any loss from using the app, including errors in set-out, rework, or delays. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Fair Trading Act 1986 that can’t be excluded.
6. Fair use
Your subscription is for you or your business. Don’t share your access with people outside your business, copy the app, or try to get around the paywall. We may suspend access if you do.
7. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If we change the price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
